Cmdr. Tom Garrepy

Thomas Garrepy has been a police officer for the past (22) years. Presently, he holds the rank of Patrol Commander for the Brunswick Police Department, in Brunswick, Maine. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. He has been a certified (Maine) Collision Reconstruction Specialist since 1999 and actively involved in teaching basic crash investigation at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He became A.C.T.A.R. certified in 2007, and has been a NAPARS member even longer. Currently, he oversees both the department's collision reconstruction and forensic mapping programs. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for the State of Maine Collision Reconstruction Unit for approximately (14) years. He joined the N.A.P.A.R.S board for the 2015/2016 term, and volunteered to take over the duties of N.A.P.A.R.S Secretary for the 2017/2018 term, now that Ron Baade has stepped down (after almost 20 years!).
